The Concept
Silent 'mingos is the bit of The Flamingo Club that solves a problem you didn't know you had: what happens when half the room wants throwbacks and the other half wants whatever's on the playlist right now.

With everyone on headphones, nobody has to compromise. Switch channels, start a dance-off with the person next to you dancing to something completely different, or just disappear into your own world for a song. It looks ridiculous from the outside and feels brilliant from the inside - which, honestly, is most of the appeal.

It works for any event. Kids' parties where you want the noise contained but the energy kept up. Milestone birthdays and hen parties where the music taste in the room varies by about thirty years. Corporate socials, school reunions, garden parties, quiet neighbours - anywhere you want a proper dancefloor without the proper volume.

Can we hire the headphones without booking a full party?
Yes - get in touch and we'll talk through your event, numbers and dates. It's a quick conversation rather than a straight online booking, since we tailor each hire to what you actually need.
Do you provide someone to run it on the night, or just the kit?
Both are possible - whether you want us there running the whole experience or just dropping off and collecting the headphones is exactly the kind of thing we sort out in that initial conversation.
What age groups can use Silent 'mingos?
All of them - it's one of the few things that genuinely works as well for an eight-year-old's birthday as it does for a 50th.
